Gone Fishing

I didn’t write blog posts for the end of last week. Why, you may ask. Well, I guess I didn’t feel like it.

I lost my drive on Thursday and Friday. I lost my focus, lost my determination. I lost my sense of purpose.

I think that happens to everyone eventually. Some days you just don’t want to get up and go to work. You take a mental health day.

You go fishing. You do whatever it is you need to do to take the day off.

I guess I took the day off. I took two days off.

I don’t know why felt so gutted. I know I couldn’t think of anything to write about, yet again, and I guess I was tired of fighting it.

I feel like I fight for content ideas every day. You’d think that I’d give up.

If it’s that much of a chore, why blog at all?

I don’t know. It’s just something I have to do.

Do I have to post every day? No. As always, the frequency is completely up to me. But as I’ve said before, daily is the frequency I’ve chosen.

But I’ve gotten my mojo back, and hopefully it will last the rest of the week. I’ll come up with new and interesting things to post every day, and this blog will remain interesting to you, dear reader, so that you will check back often.

At least, that’s the goal.
