The Journey Begins

To be honest, I have no idea what to write.  This is the first post for me to ‘document my work’ and I’m not exactly sure how I’m supposed to go about doing that.  But, I figure I’ll figure it out by doing it.

Right now, I’m in the outline stages of ‘Snow Birds’.  It’s a story about a gal who tries to make life better for herself and her three kids, but ends up making a horrible mistake.  The outline is going great, and I’ve written in most of the synopsis cards, but haven’t actually written anything of the story. I’m hoping that will come any day now.

‘Pretty Girl’ is still waiting to be edited.  I have several people breathing down my neck to read it.  I keep telling them it’s no good – I wrote it for myself, not really with the intention of it being read by anyone!  But, I’ll edit it and print some copies for myself.  We’ll see what happens.

I just wish there were more NaNoWriMo competitions to motivate me for this next book, and the next one about the violinist.  Though, that one I’m going to use as an exercise in researching for a novel.  I want to find out more about training as a violinist, because my main character trains, but breaks away from that high pressure lifestyle.

So, that’s what’s going on.  I know this is ‘rough’, but it’s the first one and I figure I’ll find out how to do these things as I do them.

Thanks for reading!
